Are the SilverSneaker ID cards mailed to members?
Yes. Health plan members, excluding Medicare Supplement and some groups, receive a mailing along with their personal SilverSneakers member ID card which can be used to enroll at any participating location. If a member wants to enroll but hasn't received a card yet or lost his card, he/she can go to Silversneakers.com to request a card and print a temporary card or he/she can call (888) 423-4632 to request a card and to get his/her ID number to use until the card is received. The participating location can print a temporary card and request the card be mailed to the member once eligibility is verified.
Since I have this as a medicare supplement I do not receive an ID card? Am I reading that right? So how do I enroll without a card?
