A brief introduction to the Silver Sneakers program.
I've joined planet fitness. When do the points show up , and how many points are there per visit
I do water aerobics at Pigeon Forge Community Rec Center. Will that help me?
I join planet fitness, who do I get my points I go there 4 times a week for 1 hour
I belong to Lifetime Fitness. How do I get credit for my trips there?
I have been going to the fitness center on my Silver Sneakers membership and so far, nothing from there shows up on my Humana 365 Go account. I have my Apple Watch set to sync all of my fitness activities, but it looks like the 365 Go is not actually connecting to the apps that sync with my Apple Watch or the health app.
I have done a lot of exercise, and only show 5 points for the whole month !
I enjoy having silver sneakers as part of my health package. It gives me the extra incentive to go out and exercise at no additional cost, especially when I live on a fixed budget.
Supposedly I have Silver Sneakers through my plan. I visit the Y 5-6 days a WEEK for pickleball and yoga. But SS pays too little for the Y to accept, so I have to pay my own membership and can't get rewards. It's a phony benefit if providers can't afford to accept it! SS referred me to a gym that has weight and cardio machines and free weights. That's it, no classes, no activites, no social , nothing for seniors.
why life time fitness is not included in silver sneaker? They have to offer so much. I have visited LA Fitness. It feel like you are going to vomit . Oh that smell!!! plus very small pool! Silver Sneakers should consider Life Time fitness. The facility is very clean plus exceptinoal customer service!!!
Humana gets paid by Medicare to offer SS, but they won't pay gyms that actually have offerings for seniors. Only for the latex and muscle crowd, no aquatics, yoga, wellness classes, group exercise and activities. It's a phony benefit we are paying for.
Silver Sneakers includes the Y which has water aerobics and many other programs. The best thing about Silver Sneakers is that I can go to the Y and Planet Fitness. I can belong to multiple facilities.
I belong to LA Fitness but have also started going to a senior center that offers exercise classes and Zumba classes for seniors, I wear a fit bit versa but I don't see any credits for those workouts. I work out at lest 5 days a week and am not getting credit. I have also lost 8 lbs. since the beginning of the year and don't know how to get credit for that either.
How do I update my status?
Does Silver Sneakers include personal training?
Hello! I apologize for the delay. It will depend on the specific location. You can always contact SilverSneakers directly by calling 866-584-7389.
I below to Curves...
my days exercised where being recorded, but aren't any longer. What do I need to do to correct this and have them recorded again?
Hi there! Is the Curves location a SilverSneakers participating facility? If not, then unfortunately Go365 will not receive your check-ins. You can always use the 2020 Medicare Fitness Workout Tracker to track, and submit, your workouts to us!
I am so thankful to Humana for providing Silver Sneakers benefits!! It has helped me to afford gym memberships to several different gyms. (I play pickleball at one, exercise equipment at another, and aqua fit classes at a third). Thank you ...thank you!!! It also provided me with membership to Stitch.net where I have made several new friends and attended several activities!!
Hi... That's GREAT,. I am sooo HAPPY for you; but now I am confused. Looks like YOU know something I don't so PLEASE explain to me how Silver Sneakers allows you to use more than ONE facility. Did you get special permission for that?
When I called SEVERAL locations, I was flatly told I could ONLY register and ONLY use that ONE FACILITY using the Humana's Silver Sneakers Benefit.
Hoping to hear from you soon and THANKS for this post!
No response? Maybe they were we're counting their eggs before they hatched, so to speak.
Thank you so much for reaching out, and we sincerely apologize for the delay.
With your Go365 policy, you can utilize any device/phone that tracks steps. Then, all you need to do is utilize the 2020 Medicare Fitness Workout Tracker to submit your workouts to us! Please remember to submit any completed paper documentation by 12/15, at the latest, as all rewards need to be redeemed prior to 12/31 each year.
Also, you can check your SilverSneakers eligibility and find gyms in your area by going to SilverSneakers.com > Check your eligibility (in the top right corner).
To view all awardable activities, along with the activities you have already been awarded for, sign into your Go365.com account (you will sign in using your Humana.com login credentials) and select "View all activities" within the green bar.
Please let me know if you have trouble accessing any of the information I have listed, or if you have any further questions. I am happy to help!
Im so confused. I want the Fitbit activity tracker but I don't have the funds after paying my rent every month. Is there a way to get it for people who are indigent? How do you sign up and know what gyms to go to also? How do you earn points, & how much, & what can they be used for? Thanks
When I looked at my quarterly $50 over the counter items, there were some trackers in there that were very affordable. I was going to buy one from them and pay around $25 out of pocket for it, but I was given one by a close friend who upgraded hers. I’d check marketplace on Facebook or online yard sales as I see them on there frequently. Also maybe eBay or amazon. Good luck
Please see my reply above
